RAIN OR SHINE ELASTO-PAINTERS over BLACKWATER ELITE, 95-90
Box Scores.

The third-seeded Rain or Shine Elasto Painters received a bit of a scare from a game Blackwater but prevailed, 95-90, to advance to next phase of the SMART BRO PBA Philippine Cup on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Rain or Shine, which came close to clinching one of the two outright semifinal berths in the elimination round, allowed an underdog Blackwater squad to tie the game at 75-all in the fourth quarter despite leading by double-digits earlier in the contest.

But the Elasto Painters were able to right the ship in time to sneak past the Elite in the dying minutes.

Jeff Chan led Rain or Shine, tallying a team-high 17 points as well as six rebounds and four assists.
