Hoop Nut Blogcast Episode 1 - Here Goes Nothing!

Finally! After about six PBA conferences, three UAAP seasons, two FIBA Asia Men’s Tournaments, and one Olympic basketball competition, Hoop Nut finally has its first proper blog (pod) cast!

This is something my co-writer here, Rolly Mendoza, and I have been planning for quite some time, and today we actually got around to doing it! Predictably, we fumbled through it. We don’t have any tool remotely professional-grade, and I’m not entirely sure if our intro music/effects are appropriate, but, hey, figuring things out as we go is part of the fun, right?

Check it out as we talk about the following topics:
- Yeng Guiao’s meltdown in Game 6 of the 2014 PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
- Mark Barroca as 2014 PBA Philippine Cup Finals MVP.
- The OKC Thunder going 0-3 since Jet-Zero returned.
- The Best NBA PF in the West: Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge, Dirk Nowitzki, or Blake Griffin?
- Should Gilas play in the 2014 PBA Governors’ Cup?

Suggestions and comments are welcome, of course!

Not rocket science, eh?

good start!!! =) cguro nxt time mas ok kung 1 topic tapos limit it to 15 to 20 min para mas focused ang discusion =)

Nice! Enjoyed it on the way to work! Yeng Guiao = loose cannon

We planned to do only 15 minutes but once we got started on a topic, we just could not stop talking haha

Congrats on the first podcast (rollz, ayan I listened to it already)! Suggestion lang siguro to limit the minutes on each topic. Be strict about that, 3 topics, with five minutes per topic, like debates. :)

Enjoyed it!
